Sunrise Coffee.
Sunrise Coffee is a Japanese-inspired bakery and coffee shop based in Warwick, specialising in artisan coffee, matcha and playful baked goods. They approached us to create a full brand identity system that would stand out locally while carrying the fun, quirky energy of Japanese café culture.
Our goal was to build a vibrant, unified brand world that feels bold, modern, and instantly recognisable — from the packaging you take away to the website you browse at home. Every touchpoint needed to stay consistent while sparking joy and curiosity.
Brand Identity
Developed a logo system centred around a bold sun/smile mark, designed to feel approachable and energetic.
Crafted a colour palette of strong yellows and deep blacks to reflect both morning warmth and high-impact visibility.
Designed a typography system balancing playful headline fonts with clear, legible body type.
Created a set of custom illustrations influenced by Japanese character culture, adding humour and charm across all assets.
Print & Packaging
Designed takeaway cups with bold wraps and illustration details, making every coffee Instagram-ready.
Created packaging for bakery items (bags, wraps, labels) with consistent brand storytelling.
Rolled out posters, menus, and signage for in-store displays — ensuring the environment felt as “on brand” as the products.

Designed and launched a website that mirrored the in-store experience — bright, fun, and user-friendly.
